Presentation

You are invited to participate in the International Conference on Interfaces in Organic and Hybrid Thin-Film Optoelectronics that will be held in Valencia, Spain.

Interfaces play a major role in the function of devices based on multilayers of organic and hybrid materials, such as light-emitting diodes, field-effect transistors and solar cells, as many key optoelectronic processes occur at these regions. Many fundamental questions remain still unanswered, especially regarding what role interfaces play and what factors influence them (e.g. interface structure and formation, evolution over device lifetime), and how these interfacial processes can be controlled and manipulated given the fact that they can significantly affect – if not dominate – device performance.

The INFORM conference will especially address the correlation between interfaces and device performance, scaling from laboratory systems to industrial device platforms. The emphasis is on the design, processing and control of multilayers of organic-organic and organic-inorganic systems. Special attention will be directed to multilayers photovoltaic devices base on donor-acceptor materials and hybrid perovskite semiconductors.

The conference will bring together scientist with different but complementary backgrounds, including polymer physics, spectroscopy, chemical synthesis and device engineering. We encourage presentation of oral and poster contributions from scientists from all over the world. The INFORM conference will foster gender diversity and participation of young and emerging scientists.
