We measure the far-field interference of two coherent sources of cathodoluminescence excited by a single electron, to probe their spatial separation along the electron
trajectory. The experiments will also serve to reveal if the electron acts as a point source when creating these two coherent excitations, or whether its quantum mechanical wave
nature affects the measured interference.
