By plane:
Manchester Airport is the nearest to Keele. There are frequent trains to Manchester Piccadilly station with regular service to Stoke-on-Trent railway station.
Birmingham Airport, the train service from Birmingham International to Stoke-on-Trent runs regularly.
By train:
The nearest railway stations are:
- Stoke-on-Trent (4,6 miles / 7,4 km)
- Crewe (12 miles / 19 km)
From the train stations you can get to Keele Campus via bus, taxi or cycling.
By car:
Keele is between Junctions 15 and 16 on the M6 motorway, and west of Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Please, take note that there is limited parking on campus, see previously the Campus parking park.
Security/Parking Applicable to all days Keele Events and Conferences
Parking for University term time Keele University operates an ANPR parking system.
Delegates/attendees must register their car prior to arrival at Keele. All parking is subject to availability. We recommend car sharing or use of public transport as parking is limited.
Once registered term time car parking is available at Keele Hall car park C13, Keele Hall Courtyard, Lindsay Q and Plot 7. Vehicle and contents are parked at the owners risk and no liability is accepted for any loss or damage, however caused.
Please help us to reduce the risk of vehicle crime by removing valuables from view in your vehicle.
Please ensure that your vehicle is parked in accordance with Keele University Traffic/Parking Policies as displayed on the car park signage. Any breach may result in an infringement notice being issued which could include a charge. Please note that a fine will be levied for failure to register your vehicle.

UNIVERSITY STAFF ATTENDEES
If University staff are attending the event in Keele Hall, it is advised for staff members to park in their usual staff car park and walk to Keele Hall due to the limited availability of spaces. If this is not possible then Keele staff members will also need to register their vehicle with the unique link. Please no Staff permits are not permitted in the courtyard or overflow car park at Keele Hall and advisory notices or fines could be issued.
