My lecture will describe our new methods for fabricating perovskite solar cells showing a solar to electric power conversion efficiency (PCE) above 21% under standard reporting conditions. I shall also describe a procedure allowing for upscaling the production of these devices with minor loss in performance. These photovoltaics shows intense electroluminescence [1]exceeding the external quantum efficiency of silicon solar cells. As a consequence, very high Voc values over 1.2 V for 1.55 eV band gap materials have been obtained under standard reporting conditions. These high Voc values render perovskite-based photosystem very attractive for use in tandem cellsand for generation of fuels from sunlight. 1. D. Bi, W. Tress, M. I. Dar, P. Gao, J. Luo, C.
