Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have gained significant attention by their remarkable powerconversion efficiencies (PCEs) of solar energy. Recent studies have increased the efficiency of PSCs to exceeding 25% efficiency, making them competitive with traditional silicon-based solar cells. The unique properties of perovskite materials, such as high absorption coefficients, tunable bandgaps, and long carrier diffusion lengths, contribute to their exceptional performance. Furthermore, suitable electron transport layer (ETL) and hole transport layer (HTL) has been shown to effectively improve charge carrier extraction and reduce recombination losses, leading to a high efficiency solar cell. Our study demonstrates that by optimizing the halide composition with Inorganic double perovskites, (A2BB’X6, where X = halides). This project aims to design and development of Cesium based inorganic double perovskite solar cell for high-efficiency performance and also simulation work to understand more about structure aspect of double perovskite solar cell to increase performance using SCAPS 1D software.
