Sarah Holmes, Deputy Editor at the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), will provide a brief introduction to publishing with the RSC and its EES Family of journals.

Sarah has worked in sustainable energy and environmental science publishing for the past eight years. In her current role as Deputy Editor for the RSC Energy journals, she assists with the strategic development of the portfolio and works closely with editorial board members, authors and reviewers across Energy & Environmental Science (EES), EES Batteries, EES Catalysis, EES Solar, Sustainable Energy & Fuels and Energy Advances.

Among her previous roles, she served as a Publishing Editor for EES, overseeing manuscripts from submission through peer review to editorial decision. She also undertook a secondment as Journals Launch Manager, leading the launch of the RSC's newest energy journals, EES Batteries and EES Solar. Drawing on her experience in peer review, she will share some practical insights into the publishing process.

Sarah will also be available throughout the conference at the Royal Society of Chemistry exhibition stand and welcomes questions, feedback and discussion about publishing, peer review and the RSC's portfolio of energy journals.
